Alex is a Partner in Daversa’s Los Angeles office, where he partners with entrepreneurs at the earliest stages of their journey. He has been involved at the incubation and seed stages with companies such as Aero, Reshop, Modern Animal, Noho Labs, and Greater Industries, working across Engineering, Finance, and Operations.

In addition, Alex runs Daversa’s General Counsel practice and has placed Legal and Compliance leaders at companies like nScale, Whatnot, Dutchie, Brex, Rippling, Thrive Holdings, Defense Unicorns, Current, Payjoy, and more.

This dichotomy of early and late stage is where Alex has the most fun. He’s helped build numerous category defining businesses, such as Rippling, Canva, Kalshi, Brex, Zip, C2FO, Calendly, Sprout Social, and Faire.

Alex is originally from Connecticut but now lives in Los Angeles with his wife and four children. Alex’s passions include golf, the outdoors, cooking, and his family.
